How's the running going? Sorry I haven't checked in for awhile. I'm thinking this is probably a crazy time for a professor with finals and all.

Hi Jim. I've been bad with updating my blog here. But I have not missed any training run. I had very nice speed work session in the last 3 weeks (on 5/6, 5/14 and 5/20) and was able to keep it at 41-43 miles per week range. I am seriously thinking about doing the Richmond marathon as my first one. The alternative is the OBX marathon. Both are in mid November.

Thank you for looking at my blog.

Glad to hear the running is going good. I read in Runner's World that Richmond is a good marathon. I remember reading where someone on the blog ran OBX last year so you might be able to find that in the race reports to get some info. I still haven't figured the marathon out yet race wise but it is a great achievement so good luck with the training and I hope it works out for you. Based on your experience in the half you should do fine.
