Went to the gym for speed work routine. Warm up 12 minutes at 8:35 pace and then four times 5 minutes at 6:49 pace and 2 minutes at 9:05 pace, after these 4 repeats did 10 minutes in 9:05 pace.

Run from the office to the trail. It was hot and humid but otherwise nice weather.

Today is the memorial day for the soldiers who gave their life for the establishment, security and prosperity of the state of Israel. Throught its 61 short but long years of independence the Jewish people living in Israel sacrified many fine sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters and other great people for peace and security. Let their memory live with us forever. May god send their relatives cure and peace. Amen. Today's run is dedicated to all those brave and dear people.

got up really early and went for a run before sunrise. It wasn't dark, just the beginning of daylight. Did two loops around the trail and with the before and after it all summed up to 6.2 miles. I hope this will become a habit (the early runs). Pace was about 8:10.
